millicent might not have chose the right type to
pursue as a hobby chasing down nights, the
last group of folk who’d dead caught to — DON’T
EVER WHO DONE IT, DON’T DO IT WITH GHOSTS

authors, it seems, a blood lust, im greed,
won’t knowingly (sales figures) kill the conceit —
they know from FIRST PAGE, its obvious, they
murdered the marsh on the scullery maid

but pay a few people their names to reveal as
the author of MURDER MOST MURDER MOST GREASY —
an author (in fact) can kill without flattening
sales-figures short of a plot-line less static

ghost writers chose their role in this ruse,
to murder for mystery, you’ve got one TODO —
authors prefer they do all the work,
cause murder is easy and leaves time for surfing

in fact (or in practice) ghost writers contract in
99 % best-sellers the back-end —
with writers more freed for planning and teams
you get bang your hook into book killing sprees

millicent made to the book club the change
to read only books the author unpaid (is),
to keep up suspense (they did it — that’s said)
so authors can murder — it’s what they are best at
