salvador sendit, his dog, and a blender
had no choice for want of a ferry to head the
hurricane STUFF (of) sunnyvale, bluff it
because they’d no cough syrup, spears (or the others)

sunnyvale isn’t STUFF much provisioned
because it’s remote, they mainly do fishing,
and if you’re intending a storm (it’s still pending)
to fasten to, frighten (the hurricane heading)

you’ve got to make do with available tools
that sunnyvale’s got: fish mostly, prunes,
a couple of boats, a load of loose rope,
a bear, and a (comparatively) fresh eskimo

eskimos come in flavors and countries
(alaska and canada, a couple are russian),
and if you can find an eskimo mild
you can use it for all sorts of winter storm frightening

eskimos hard have far too much starch,
eskimos spicy are difficult, start with
eskimos clear, work up, engineering
your hurricane hurdle with brown sauce and beer

the eskimo flavor — prawn cocktail (maybe)
most in demand (if you’ve got it), with training,
keep them in line as the hurricane drives —
IT’S GENERALLY BELIEVED THEY’RE IMPOSSIBLE (flighty)

eskimos ranch and buffalo stand
tall in the winds 400 (mp, faster)
won’t when there’s raging a flurry of freight
hurricanes frighten because they’ve got faces

friendly and wise — if you’re eskimos trying
plain eskimos use, with salsa combine them —
this eskimo won’t for its flavor expose,
and salsa the brunt of the STUFF can control

you stand them up strong (these eskimos caught —
they don’t come in packets — wild’s only option)
in the bluff overlooking sunnyvale crooked
two lines with trenches to firm up their footing
